For those who haven't seen this, 5 Hawkeye recruits were named to the ASICS H.S. All-American Team(s). I don't know if this is a record for Iowa recruits on one team, but sure seems like a lot.
1st Team 120 lbs = Spencer Lee (if he gets 1st Team again next year, he'll be the 1st 4 Time first teamer ever on ASICS - this is the 31st addition of this team - pretty impressive stuff to be sure)
1st Team 113 lbs = Gavin Teasdale
2nd Team 120 lbs = Justin Mejia
2nd Team 160 lbs = Kaleb Young
2nd Team 170 lbs = Alex Marinelli
Honorable Mention Iowa Recruits = 120 lbs Jason Renteria, 145 lbs Carter Happel
