Hawks looking awful fast in winter drills!

So with that speed, Iowa will beat Purdue in 2018? I think Iowa starts 0-2 and recovers a little to finish 7-5, get a bowl win and finish 8-5, again.

So rivals has most things figured out, but they can’t keep this fool off the board? 10 different user names over the past 2-3 days...

Come on, gigs up, kick this worthless troll off the boards.

I'm really rooting for B. Smith. Hope he becomes Stanley's go to possession/red zone receiver.
Amen. He got some meaningful snaps as a frosh, but while he looks the part physically,(or in the pictures,LOL!), he seemed a little tentative. Hopefully that was just a case of freshman nerves because B Smith having a breakout year alongside ISM, Easley, Cooper, and the TE's could make our passing game very dangerous.

This joke never gets old! The "hey, our guys look fast in pictures" joke is hilarious. Even after 10,000 posts about it. Classic!!
Wattup Ted? Give me the insider scoop on "The Company" and the inslaw octopus.

The joke will never die!! BAhahahahahahaha!!!

God guys, there freaking pictures. Hell the Huskers looking fast too, and Rutgers, and Northwestern and so on and so on and so on. They all look fast with no pads. I know it’s off season and slow....but my God.

I have been on the B Smith Wagon for awhile, and was a little disappointed in his targets, but think he will step up this year.
What are your thoughts on B Smith ? I saw a lot of people before the start of last season that were high on him and I always wondered why. I've learned to hold back my expectations on new recruits till I see them take the field against B1G competition.

I thought B. Smith might be the next Mcnutt when he came in last year. He'll need to make huge strides to reach that obviously. His year was quite underwhelming in my book. He has some time but he may not have the desire or drive to be great. I hope he does and the team needs him to be that guy. Time will tell.

A little rough there, Harb! McNutt did not see the field until his redshirt sophmore year , if I rightly recall. Brandon is just starting his first spring football at Iowa. Brandon's lack of immediate stardom is not his fault. Iowa's poor WR recruiting with GDGD and Booby Kennedy were to blame.

"Underwhelming" is a good way to put it. I also think as fans we undervalue what it means for Kirk to put a freshman on the field. As a fan of B. Smith I wish there would have been more of an effort to force him some balls when the situation allowed for it as a way of building him up.
