Personally, I'd be perfectly fine if Biden stepped down and Harris became POTUS. I wish he had done that weeks ago as it might have given her an incumbency boost.

Nobody anticipated a political party would put someone with such poor character and suspect morals in the position of candidacy for POTUS. What has transpired since has compounded the issue. A candidate for POTUS with a criminal record, facing dozens future criminal charges is anathema to Constitutional principles.
He has trampled on ethics and acceptable standards and moral behavior. Sponsored an insurrection, avoiding prosecution by his prior history as ex-POTUS, favorable timelines which friendly courts exploited, and a SCOTUS already considered dubious willing to immunize him.
