We have a media session with Iowa Baseball coach Rick Heller and a few of the players today. The team will be headed up to Minnesota after practice today and will practice tomorrow at Target Field. Team hasn't played on grass for a while, so he wants them to get on the field and adjust to the different surface.
Heller said he thinks if they win two games in the Big Ten Tournament that they have a good shot at hosting a regional. We shall see. I guess it might be which two games you win type of deal too. If they happen to eventually face Illinois and beat them, then that will be much more helpful type deal.
Iowa faces Ohio State on Wednesday afternoon at 1 pm (central) and the game will be on the BTN.
