i came across a news feed on Facebook about a Hawkeye family located in Arkansas that just lost their son a few days ago when he was struck by a car. A GoFundMe page was created for the family. I don't know the family; however I cannot fathom what they are going thru as a parent should never have to go through something like this. Again, just posting this to help a fellow Hawkeye family.

I saw this posted from the father. It was on the Hawkeye Heaven page: "I would like to send you a message and I don't expect anything in return at all. My son Garrin Bonjour was hit by a car last night and he passed away. He was a huge Iowa Hawkeyes fan. His whole room is in all Iowa Hawkeyes. We live here in Arkansas but I grew up in Iowa and have always been a huge fan of Iowa Hawkeyes myself and he had the same passion. He has been so excited about how great Iowa is doing this year. He even drew a picture for school the other day that was a Hawkeye. All he was asking for Christmas was Hawkeyes stuff. I don't know if anything is possible but I would love for this message to get to the Hawkeyes players to know how much he was proud of them and how much he looked up and cheered for them. He was such a great kid. He was more like 12 going on 40. Thank you for reading this. I know he would honored."

That's also the page that I saw it on. Just devastated for the family.
