Is it strictly money? If the BCS turns into a 12-16 playoff, wouldn't both teams have better shots of making the playoffs in the Big 12 versus the SEC? Also, I thought super conferences were advantageous when only 4 schools made the CFP and a conference champ was an almost shoe-in. With more teams making the playoffs, don't 10 team leagues make more sense....play 9 conference games (face everyone) and pick up your 3 non-conference games.....conference champion makes the playoffs and 2nd place has an outside shot.....wouldn't that make more sense?
