Here's the great news

I'm wondering how many first round tournament losses that is now to a double digit seed for Fran. And I mean both the NCAA and Big 10 Tournaments.

If Iowa is the underdog, they have shot. As the much higher seeded team, Iowa usually craps the bed.

Fran != tournament coach.

Unless Wilson rears it's ugly head.

0-4 using that ball now.

Didn't UNC make the Championship game last year as an 8 seed?
They sure did Obese. Michigan, ISU, Miami, and St Peters all made the sweet 16 after getting a nice restful weekend before the tourney. Sucking to OSU is going to pay off.

Richmond, I think, is the only double digit seed Fran's lost to in the NCAAT. Ya know, that game where Keegan played the whole 2nd half with an ankle sprain.

I still can't get over this thinking some people have that "losing first game in the conference tournament, even if were the much higher seed" automatically translates into "vastly increased chances of making a run - to at least the Sweet16 - in the NCAA Tourney".

I think the point is that there it's all unpredictable.
