Hey Huey.... FBI formally confirms investigation is about Hillary

It's the right desperately clinging to the hope that Hillary gets nailed on this thing so that they can go into the Oval Office without being invited first.

Thread fails.

This is also a big problem....losing New Hampshire......, then South Carolina....to Bernie
Politico's report cited a half-dozen people close to the campaign who said that the Clintons aren't pleased with their campaign's messaging and digital operations. Expecting a loss to Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vermont) in New Hampshire's Tuesday primary, they are reportedly considering making changes at the campaign's Brooklyn headquarters sooner rather than later.

"The Clintons are not happy, and have been letting all of us know that," a source close to both Clintons told Politico. "The idea is that we need a more forward-looking message, for the primary – but also for the general election too. ... There's no sense of panic, but there is an urgency to fix these problems right now."

Why? The FBI has never said it's investigating her. This is just getting stupid.

Then what are they investigating if not her?

If the State Department did something wrong, well, she was the boss of the State Department. If her server was set up improperly, well, she was in charge of her private server. If the company in Colorado that managed her server did something wrong, well, she is the one that hired them and negotiated terms of service.

All roads lead to Hill on this.

Nah, just a friendly factcheck that the thread is based on absolutely no facts whatsoever.
Other than Hillary admitted to using a personal email server and the FBI is reviewing the emails on said server, facts get in the way are just distracting.

What a baseless witch hunt! Taxpayers should demand more...

If you think the men behind the curtain are actually going to let a woman be elected President, then I don't know what to tell you. From Benghazi to this BS email scandal, the fix is in and it's just sad that such a decent person has to be unjustly attacked like this.

OK. This whole schtick has to be a joke.

Because what she did was incredible reckless and showed to the world she thinks she is above common sense protocols that others have to follow.

Why do you think we shouldn't hold politicians accountable for reckless behavior.

I cannot for the life of me answer this question and it bothers me, it should bother everyone: Why did she have the system set-up the way she did in the first place? What was her motivation and why did she not even have a State Dept account ever opened up for her?

Condoleeza and Colin did pretty much the same thing minus the server part. In fact, half of Washington did the same thing. Like it or not, it was commonplace for officials to use personal emails for public business.

As you stated she took it to a whole new level and did so exclusively...why? I don't think other people's past bad decisions/actions exonerates someone from making even more egregious decisions/actions do you?

GWB started a war under false pretense do you think that should exonerate the next POTUS that does so (should it happen)?

Listen, I know you want your team to win but integrity HAS to matter at some point to avg everyday citizens bc it certainly doesn't matter to the political elite. If it doesn't matter for the American Citizens then our country will be totally lost, hell maybe it already is. :(

"GWB started a war under false pretense"

he did?

how so? there were weapons. Obama found them later in Syria and threatened more troops on the ground, remember? plus, there was no war. just an action.

Cause she's a secretive bitch. Still doesn't change the fact that there is no evidence that this investigation is a criminal one nor even about her. And no, she wasn't the only person to take it to this level. So did Jeb. He also had his own server. I understand that they had different jobs, but the intent of each was probably the same. They both wanted total control of their emails. You can complain about this as much as you want. In fact, I support that criticism and applaud the change of law to require public emails. But it still doesn't change the fact that neither her nor Bush likely broke the law at the time they were in office.

I don't care if they broke the law, they showed unbelievably poor judgment and character in making the decisions they did. You want to let them off the hook for that and I want voters to hold them accountable. THAT is what this boils down to.

What I find odd is people are willing to put their integrity judgment up for sale in the name of their team winning a political election. It is sad that Americans don't hold their politicians more responsible for their actions. I don't get that mindset.

How did they show poor judgment when many of their peers were doing the same thing? Back when both were in office, it was an common practice for officials to use private emails. I just don't get how you can call a commonplace and legal practice unbelievably poor judgment?

Actually, I hope she doesn't get indicted.

No way you feed and get yourself dressed in the mornings.

Don't know how to handle the post, do you?

No, I used to be amazed how you gloss over things now it's almost BAU. You don't even try to hide it.

I think I really noticed when you said the investigation didnt involve Hillary, just her server. I was lost at first, then looked at who posted and totally understood.

I'm honestly not sure I could make it any clearer unless I came out and posted the truth, again, in this very thread... Hillary won't forget this when she is exonerated and sworn in. It's truly an injustice to watch those with an agenda besmirch an American treasure!

FACT CHECK: Condy Rice didn't use email.

Thanks for the link Huey. Guess you didn't read it, because this paragraph was in the article.

Georgia Godfrey, Rice’s chief of staff at Stanford University’s Hoover Institution, said the former secretary of state did not use email while in the job nor have a personal email account. It was her understanding that the emails in question were sent to Rice’s assistant, “reporting diplomatic conversations and they contained no intelligence information”.

OOPS

Huey must have gone into hiding mode.

He's just as good at that as he is at reading comprehension.

It wasn't common practice to use private servers, and especially if they were Secretary of State. Name another SOS that used a private server...............
