This picture is from a story in today's Washington Post about her ongoing problems with Bill's behavior. But what struck me is how old and worn out she looks. I've also seen some articles that say her health is really bad, that she gets fatigued easily, that she almost collapses after standing for long periods, and that her extra long break at the Democratic debate was due to her physical challenges.

Is she healthy enough to undergo the rigors of being POTUS?

I suppose we'll learn the answer in the months to come. It would seem that if her health is really that bad that it should emerge at some point during a presidential campaign. Still, she does not look healthy to me.

I'm hoping she realizes her health is more important and drops out of the race. But it's doubtful as she has no idea what kind of liability she is.

What worries me is this:

The Abedin email material contains a January 26, 2013, email exchange with Clinton aide Monica Hanley regarding Clinton’s schedule in which Abedin says Clinton is “often confused:”
  • Abedin: Have you been going over her calls with her? So she knows singh is at 8? [India Prime Minister Manmohan Singh]
  • Hanley: She was in bed for a nap by the time I heard that she had an 8am call. Will go over with her
  • Abedin: Very imp to do that. She’s often confused.

Maybe this was just the lingering effects of her earlier fall, but I am not sure we need another president who is often confused.

I was noticing this same thing in a recent Hillary TV commercial. I was just sitting on my couch watching this commercial, listening to hillary quotes being voiced over, and she sounded very strong, assertive, and then... They cut to a short video clip where you could actually see her speaking recently. That ruined the whole ad. They really shouldn't show her, ever, on her ads. She could probably win with nobody ever seeing her again until the night of the election.

This is TV advertising 101. If this were the UK, it wouldn't matter, but here in the US of A, we have an ingrained bias for attractive people, and women are held to a higher standard, even subconsciously. It may not cost her the election, but her looks are not helping.

Women sure don't age well

OP should post a picture of his wife since he doesn't mind calling out other women about their looks. Any chances of that OP?

The poutrage you're showing here is misplaced. You can't be that stupid. The OP's wife ain't in her late 60's running for president.

I would agree with the OP that running for president is a terrible thing to put one's self through. You are effectively rushed from spot to spot for 18 hours a day for 18 months. Your looks would change dramatically too if you did it at her age.

It doesn't have anything to do with what the OP's wife looks like - or how you view Hillary's looks before or ever. I bet it's utterly grueling. And let's face it, Hillary is no spring chicken any more.

Try again, Fred.

I am betting his Wife is not running for POTUS. That's the basis of his question? It's a very legitimate question to be asked

She's been losing sleep about all the gun-related massacre deaths in the U.S. recently....or that the world will find out what really happened regarding Benghazi.

The Republican nominee should demand that they have a three hour long debates with no breaks. Let's see if she can hold up or if she tips over halfway through.

Why the "Hillary Looks Like Death Warmed Over" title then? Couldn't the title have been, "Can Hillary's health allow her to be president for the long haul"? You see I asked the same implied question without bringing her looks into the equation. I just think if dan is going to cast stones onto others, maybe he should be willing to allow others to do the same to him. He is a good Christian after all.

Plus I hear illegal immigrants who marry for citizenship don't age very well.

Here we go again. The oompa loompa at his finest.

Are you sure you want to go down this road again? It usually plays out the same way every time.

You insult me or my family, I insult you and your family, you threaten to drive to CR to beat me up, you realize you're an overweight/over the hill loser and disappear, and then come back and start insulting me or my family again at a later date. Rinse and repeat.

Either stop responding to me, drive your fat ass over to CR, or learn how to not get so worked up over anonymous people say to you on the internet. kthxbai

If you look at before and after pictures of Presidents I don't know why any of them would want the job.

Yikes! The Washington Post obviously darkened the photo to make her look more scary. They are clearly racist, sexist, and a bunch of other ists!

It looks like Bill's nose grew while he was in office. No Sh*t.

Or he just partied a little to much during his eight years. Plus he must have drank a lot of coffee to change the color of his teeth that much.

The issue is not her looks, but the physical stamina of Hillary.
The Presidency is a demanding job that requires the ability to
operate under great stress. Reagan chopped wood, George
W. Bush cleared brush, Obama played golf and none of them
could stop the stress and tension of 8 years in the Oval Office..

This is rich. You give pretty much zero effort into not being a crass dickwad at every opportunity, and you're giving a lesson on how someone should phrase a question so it's not so mean.

Awesome.

You mow golf courses and take your kids t-ball games way to seriously. Thanks for the input though.

Interesting that the OP openly wonders about the Democratic female candidate to be President, but nary a concern for a cancer survivor in Carly Fiorina, a morbidly obese Chris Christie, or a Donald Trump who has bean bags under his eyes and is older than Hillary Clinton.

Haha, case in point.

I'm just considering the source. A hyper-sensitive t-ball parent who mows grass for a living. Sorry if I don't hold your opinion with much weight. I also wouldn't take life advice from a guy picking up pop cans in the middle of the median. You chose your career of mowing grass. If you want people to take you seriously look for a line of work that is a little more relevant to giving advice to others outside of what is the best way to get rid of crab grass.

Not really all that interesting all threads started on here about politics don't carry the opposing view.

That is left up to the other side to do.

Link to the picture of your smush hog? Are you too ashamed to post a picture of her?

Do you call your wife a smush hog? I see why you support anybody named Clinton then. Let me guess though, you "really like Bernie, but will settle for Hillary?"

Interesting take.

Wanting to teach a game the right way = hyper-sensitive t-ball parent

Career as golf course superintendent = picks up cans in median, lost at life, opinions should be disregarded...anything else? If it were as simple as mowing grass, the average supt. wouldn't make $84K/year. Maybe there's just a little more to it, but hell, why would you care?

Greenway, most (if not all but Fred) that post here know you're a good guy. I'd say most also have an opinion of Fred as well.

By the way, just curious if this year's winter should mean we get an earlier open to our course (central Iowa) this spring, or is it too early to tell?

Gettting upset that they aren't keeping statistics up to your standards in t-ball isn't really the same as wanting "teach the game the right way". You wanted errors to be recorded IN F'ING T-BALL!!!! You're probably the guy screaming at the refs about "DEFENSIVE 3 SECONDS" at your kids YMCA league too. I've dealt with your type. Usually you don't think you're in the wrong and just want to make sure the kids are being "taught" the correct way to play the game. Just relax, little Greenway isn't making the pros.
