Hillary Looks Like Death Warmed Over

Point out one time I've mocked Christie's weight. I've stated it would be best health wise if he lost weight, but wuoild never mock anyone for it. That's a medical issue.

I'd like to discuss the bolded part a bit. I'd say it is entirely a lifestyle issue. You might know better than I would, but are there any people on this planet (Samoans perhaps, I kid?) that are "naturally" fat?

Regarding appearances of women as they age, that's strictly a matter of opinion. You don't have any empirical evidence to support the claim that 'women lose their looks much sooner than men' do you?
If you do I'd be interested in reading those research studies.

I rest my case.

While lifestyle certainly contributes significantly to a large number of cases, there are genes associated with a predisposition toward the development of obesity. A recent article came out that looked at the correlation between FTO gene ('fat mass and obesity-associated) and the ANKK1 gene (which affects dopamine responses to reward learning). Other studies have linked FTO with deficits in energy metabolism and adipose tissue homeostasis.

The reason this is a medical issue is not necessarily the causes of obesity, but rather the consequences. Yes, many (dare I say most) cases of obesity are lifestyle-related, but that doesn't mitigate the health complications associated with the issue. It's well known that many types of cancer are highly obesity-associated.

That's why I say that Chris Christie's physique (or any other candidate who is 'obese') is not a matter to be made fun of and I would never do that. Should he become more of a potential nominee I honestly would like him to come out with a complete medical work-up (I believe they do anyway), same as Hillary must do. Some might say it's a matter of privacy, but I believe it's a legitimate issue given her neurologic history that should be resolved sooner than later. The fact she had a neurologic event does not necessarily mean there are any lasting sequelae, but it does put her at a greater risk of future events than someone without a neurologic history.

Are you sure you want to go down this road again? It usually plays out the same way every time.

You insult me or my family, I insult you and your family, you threaten to drive to CR to beat me up, you realize you're an overweight/over the hill loser and disappear, and then come back and start insulting me or my family again at a later date. Rinse and repeat.

Either stop responding to me, drive your fat ass over to CR, or learn how to not get so worked up over anonymous people say to you on the internet. kthxbai

You need some help Fred? Ain't nothing for me to whup a man's ass.

You of all people should know that in politics perception is reality. See John McCain 2008. I realize the sheeple that comprise the Democrat party will argue otherwise, but Hill looks like crap and it will matter to the indees who will elect the next president.
I'm sorry, are you saying McCain lost because of looks? It was a freaking tidal wave because McCain just wasn't a great candidate on the national stage, and he picked a VP nominee that sane people cringed at.

Just as an FYI Terry Branstad was on the airwaves yesterday drumming up support for his plan to shift money from schools to water projects. He took email questions on IPR's River-To-River and he stumbled repeatedly. Numerous times he repeated himself during the answer to a question. I haven't seen recent pictures of him, but he didn't look so vital when he ran for re-election. The people of Iowa seemed to look past his cardio-pulmonary disease when they voted him back into office.

This picture is from a story in today's Washington Post about her ongoing problems with Bill's behavior. But what struck me is how old and worn out she looks. I've also seen some articles that say her health is really bad, that she gets fatigued easily, that she almost collapses after standing for long periods, and that her extra long break at the Democratic debate was due to her physical challenges.

Is she healthy enough to undergo the rigors of being POTUS?

I suppose we'll learn the answer in the months to come. It would seem that if her health is really that bad that it should emerge at some point during a presidential campaign. Still, she does not look healthy to me.
Have you see Bill lately? These folks are getting older. Just like you and I. If Ronnie made it...Hillary will too. No worry.
