Hola Amigos

Douchebag move is successful!

Seriously, who uses their girlfriend's/mom's (same person) picture as their profile pic?
Thank you for bumping my thread, bumpkin.

Since there's so much musical ignorance here, I've updated my avatar to something more your speed. Although the circumstances are different, I think Stanley might be in for the same fate as Uthoff, leaving Wisconsin for Iowa and then never beating them.

Come to think of it, that's not far from Torbee's story. You should have stayed home, Torbs. Not UW of course, but Edgewood or MATC might have taken you.

Seriously.. you must live a boring ass life sitting on an opposing teams forum barking up the wrong tree.. get over yourself pilgrim .. go back to eating bricks of sharp cheddar and old Milwaukee beer then porking your 450 pound wife

Patience, my friend. Only another 697 posts and I'll have as many here as Torbee has on Buckyville. And it wasn't just on Tuesdays.

Are you starting to understand the pain we went through?

Dude has come to Buckyville every year forever. Acts like a jackwagon, and comes back next year, like clockwork.

He predicted a 10-point Hawkeye victory for last year's game (I won't remind you what happened).

He didn't stop by this year, so I just wanted to check in and make sure he was OK. #BuckyvilleCares
That 10 point prediction for Hawks this year would have been on mark without the 2 punt return mistakes by Iowa. I was at game and spoke to some Wisconsin fans afterwards; they agreed if those 2 teams played 10 times, each would win 5.

36 hours and still no word.

Torbee, please say something, anything to let us know you're OK. Everyone in your hometown of Madison, WI cares about you. Please come "rap at us" as soon as you can, buddy.

XXOO,
Buckyville

How nice. Did they pat you on the head as they told you that?

No, they were much more mature about it then u. Was kind of funny the next morning at hotel I stayed at...most Wisky fans at breakfast had changed into their fudge Packer garb. What a bunch of goobers.

You think it's "kind of funny" that people wear the colors of the team they support? Did you happen to notice the 65,000 "goobers" in your stadium the night before?

Of course they agreed with that. You were being far too generous. Iowa wins 7 out of 10. Iowa was the better team Saturday.

They should schedule a game between the two teams and settle this debate once and for all. We'll even let you guys host it. At night.

Majority of them were overweight...they looked like green and yellow bloated ticks.

C’mon...you know Iowa had that game in control except for 2 dumb special team blunders. Take the victory and be happy, but Wisconsin is certainly not a dominant team. O$U and Penn State both look to be stronger.

Wisconsin made "blunders" as well, do we get to remove those from the calculus? How about our true freshman CB letting Fant run by him? Do we get to take that TD back? There are others, of course, that's football.

Mistakes are part of the game, neither team played perfectly. Badgers won because when it was crunch time, our QB came through and yours folded.

The spirit of what you are saying is correct, but the comparison you are making is a false equivalency in terms of blunders.

Bottomline is the game was hard fought and both teams had their moments. Wisconsin made plays when it mattered and Iowa did not. You are correct about that.

With that said, the special teams gaffe was a serious blunder that was in my opinion not only inexcusable but a reflection on coaching, as we have seen time and time again ridiculous special teams errors under Ferentz that put Iowa at a significant disadvantage.

Correct...hard to compare a defensive back getting beat (which happens all the time), vs a player (only one on the return punt team) kicking an apparent dead ball (rarely happens).

Yes, I completely agree that Iowa pays their HC too much for what they get.

You're right the DB's mistake was worse, as it resulted in an immediate TD, while the punt snafu gave Iowa a chance to stop a TD. Spoiler: they couldn't, because their red zone D isn't as good as the Badgers'.

I know that Iowa has a Writers' Workshop, but what they really need is a Readers' Workshop. I've told you hicks about five times, I'm not from Wisconsin, and I'm not a Packers fan.

But if lashing out helps with the healing, carry on.
What a rare breed, as the only Wisconsin fans I’ve met are from Wisconsin. Otherwise, why would they like the Badgers?

LOL, looking forward to next year’s game in Madison.

Sweet. And Iowa will win 7 of the next 9. Just like I said.

You know who the better team was. Now run back to your mommies basement.

Crazy thing - They actually let you go to school there even if you're not from the state of WI. And as a world-class academic institution, The University of Wisconsin attracts students from every corner of the country and all over the world.

And Paul Cryst is fat...fits in at Wisky.

He only looks fat. He's actually just as skinny as Kirk, but he's hiding an extra 3 wins per season under that sweatshirt.

Sorry bad math, Chryst is averaging 4 more wins per season, not 3. Sorry for the error.

Nope, don’t believe it...”world-class academic institution”, let’s not get carried away.

Are you ok? Do you have mental issues? Hanging on a rivals board after every bounce went your way and constantly talking smack reeks of inferiority. You seem desperate for validation. Sad, really.

The sad thing is, it's really not hard to not be an asshole. And most Badger fans are super cool - and like to chill out, drink a few beer, grill some brats and enjoy competitive football games and enjoy both Iowa City and Madison as super cool college towns.

Unfortunately, Buckyville has about a half-dozen vociferous jackasses that derail any decent conversation.

Not all Badger sites are full of aholes, though. Example:

I had never been to Kinnick Stadium, so covering Saturday night’s contest between the now-No. 15Wisconsin Badgersand theIowa Hawkeyescertainly set a high bar both on the field and in other ways.

First off, for those driving through southwestern Wisconsin to Iowa City—about a three-hour drive from Madison—the scenic view of that section of the Badger State is fantastic. Barely any flat land at all and tons of rolling hills. It really is a fast drive compared to, say, Champaign.

After the first quarter came the coolest aspect of covering the game: the waving of the players/crowd to the families near the top of the University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital.

Alec Ausmus@A_Twice27

“The Wave” to the kids at the children’s hospital at Iowa is one of the best traditions in college football.

I don't think much else needs to be said about it other than what a wonderful gesture and fantastic tradition that’s been started.

@BadgerFootball's A.J. Taylor scored with a minute to go, and the Badgers added an insurance TD late.

Final: Wisconsin 28, Iowa 17.

The redshirt junior signal caller completed 17 of 22 pass attempts for 205 yards and three touchdowns, coming up huge on the go-ahead drive by completing all five of his passes for 67 yards.

The offense was not perfect on Saturday night, but that drive was methodical, utilized various contributors, and Hornibrook steadied the ship down the field until the offense hit paydirt to take the lead.

Maybe lost in the shuffle of skill-position players, but this is a lineman who had to wear two different numbers to play two different positions. The redshirt junior wore No. 96 in Wisconsin’s “Jumbo” package as an extra lineman/pseudo-tight end, then went back to his normal No. 78 to play the rest of the game at center when redshirt sophomoreTyler Biadaszwas injured.

Just another example of a former walk-on not just filling in the gap when called upon, but excelling.

Alec Ingold
He turns a fullback reverse of sorts into a 33-yard touchdown run to ice the game in Wisconsin’s favor with 22 seconds left. Before that, a 33-yard reception to begin the second quarter led directly to a 1st-and-Goal opportunity where Hornibrook found tight endJake Fergusonfor a touchdown.

Surprisingly, no fullback dives were called against the Hawkeyes, but Ingold contributed—once again—in a versatile manner.

Ryan Connelly
With his parents in attendance, the redshirt senior—whose father went to school at Iowa—recorded six tackles with a key tackle for loss.

The entire punt coverage unit
Hey, this group of Badgers created two of UW’s three turnovers. Yes, the Iowa special teamer made a poor decision that allowed Wisconsin to get the ball on the Hawkeyes’ 10-yard line, but the third phase of the game can make or break teams.

Fun game notes
  • Wisconsin won its 700th career game. UW is the 26th FBS program to reach this mark.
  • UW’s all-time record is 700–491–53.
  • Saturday’s win was the 16th straight regular-season conference victor, marking not just the longest streak in UW history but also the longest active streak in the nation.
  • Wisconsin has now won five straight at Kinnick Stadium dating back to 2010, and has won six of the last seven contests overall against Iowa.
  • Jonathan Taylorhad a “quiet” 113 yards on Saturday, but he has gone over the century mark in all four games this season and has done so in 14 of 18 games during his brief career.
  • Ingold now has 98 career touches. Seventeen have resulted in touchdowns. That’s one touchdown in every 5.8 touches.
  • Wide receiverA.J. Taylorleads the team in receptions (15) and is averaging a whopping 19.6 yards per catch through four games.
  • Redshirt freshman cornerbackDeron Harrellrecorded his first career start.
  • Nine true freshmen made the travel roster for the Iowa contest.

Thank you for bumping my thread yet again, young urban sophisticate.

It's OK if you don't/can't appreciate Zappa. I don't get Maroon 5, maybe you can make me a mixtape so I can get hip to what you're puttin' down.

Wow, Torbee has really gotten under sf's skin. And in his head. Good work Torbee.
