FWIW I think people have the freedom to be stupid and I am against banning things. I just think the obvious grab and twist here by trump is hilarious.
The silly part here is that the ban only takes effect so long as the Chinese own TikTok. All Trump has to do to declare victory is persuade some of his rich friends to buy it.
I disagree…methinks Trump knows exactly what he is doing and that’s what Dems need to understand. Trump is going to personally benefit from this in the long run. That is a given.
I guess that is a Republican strategy. Create a problem then attempt to solve it and take credit.

In March he had a post on Truth social saying the Ds finally figured out what he did years ago by banning TikTok. Now, 9 months later he is trying to change course… wanna know why? M-O-N-E-Y… he’s going to find a way to squeeze every penny he can from donations, hotel stays, a friend buying it, etc. He’s looking for his cut.
