The question is why did trump change his mind? Who are the investors in byte dance? Several big VC firms including Peter thiel’s fund and Joe lonsdale’s fund. Hmm

Problem is: he was uncharacteristically right the first time.
Exactly. Republicans used to hate fascism yet here we are.An article from 2020? Hey, positions change, right Kamala?
We are sliding closer and closer to nazi Germany everyday.
I said this 5 years agoWe are sliding closer and closer to nazi Germany everyday.
We had a production manager that oversaw 2 different department supervisors. He would tell one one thing and the other the exact opposite and then go to lunch. That way he always had something to straighten out when he got back.Create a problem then fix the problem has been a political staple for centuries
It's hard for the Dems to come up with a message that appeals to the subtards.Dems should get better at politics then. Which is depressing because most of the leading Democrats behind the ban are f'ing ancient and have been in politics for decades
He’s corrupt. Tech guys figured out a way to funnel money to him and he changed his position. He did the same thing with crypto.
The silly part here is that the ban only takes effect so long as the Chinese own TikTok. All Trump has to do to declare victory is persuade some of his rich friends to buy it.
To be fair - it's also the same as his first term, and his utter inability to stay on topic. All this outrage… is exactly what Trump wants. He is creating news cycle after news cycle on stuff that doesn’t matter much (at least in the near term), but which distracts from the issues which got him elected and which he won’t solve.
As mire everyone keeps amplifying topics like Greenland, TikTok and the Gulf of America then less they focus on Trump’s inability to lower prices, reshore manufacturing, solve healthcare, etc.
