Who do we see wandering the sidelines at practice next week? Tom Arnold? Ashton Kutcher? The ghost of John Wayne? Where will we be practicing? Will they practice upon arrival on the 24th? What type of leisure time activities are planned? Do they still do the Prime Rib Bowl or did I just show my age?

Just filling time while I wait.... and wait.... and wait...

Wondering the same thing and haven't seen anything. Was there in 1982 and the team went to Disney.

The team did go to Disneyland, and just about everywhere else for Hayden's first Rose Bowl in 1982. Hayden later said he probably made a mistake by letting the guys have so much fun and not concentrating more on the game. He made it more of a business trip the next two times, but still couldn't get that Rose Bowl win that he wanted so much. Let's hope these Hawks figure out the formula and finally "bring them roses home." They can go to Disneyland anytime.

The trip to Disneyland is something both teams have always done as part of their "bowl obligations" since Disney has always sponsored different aspects of the week. It's not an all day thing where Iowa will be having fun and goofing around while Stanford is all business and practicing. Both teams take part...similar to the beach day at the Outback Bowl.

Edit: Stanford and Iowa will be at Disney California Adventure Park on Dec. 26. It will be head coaches and key players. Not sure who or how many, but doesn't sound like the whole team will be there, and definitely not all day.

John Wayne was on the USC football team for a while, so he may be there as a ghost against Stanford.

I think we all know why Fry didn't get his rose bowl win in 85-86.......

Canzeri posted a pic on Instagram of him and A Kutcher outside the football facility today.

Is Gene Wilder still active? I have never seen the comedy genius represent his alma mater the Hawkeyes in any capacity, except maybe hooking up with Alex Karras in "Blazing Saddles".
