Yeah. I don't want to make it sound like every younger person who believes in Trump is a white hetero male who is losing in life either, because that's not the case, but that's a huge chunk of the base and the message to them also resonates with older men and women who see the past nostagically where whiteness was a virtue and men dominated economically, politically, and socially. Trump and the GOP has tapped into this resentment of something lost and it's working.

That’s the fundamental problem—people (i.e., in the South) view a rich, uppity, know-it-all yankee like Donald Trump, who is old, demented, and bat-shit crazy—as more relatable than the average Democrat. You can call the MIB stupid all day—I certainly do—but that doesn’t change the fact Democrats have a perception problem. A serious one at that.
This is also sad but true. Too many Americans would rather be lied to and feel good than to hear the truth and actually do something worthwhile with themselves.
So, while this is true, the gap was relatively small. Education has proven to be the greatest indicator of who someone is voting for. 62% of those who have never attended college voted for Trump. That's a huge gap.

Never played DND. I played all manner of sports growing up. I'm not ideologically challenged to the point where someone has convinced me that something that is basically irrelevant to 99.9% of the population should warrant any level of concern.
