Home security systems?

My insurance company is providing a decent discount if I have a home system.

Any recs out there for easy to install systems?

Last time I checked, to get the discount I needed the professional type with a subscription. The ones that actually call the police and fire dept. Those would probably need to be installed by the company. But that was years ago,

Yep. The system has to be monitored. But I see there are systems that a DIY guy can install with pro monitoring.
