No question we have a lot of work moving forward on Defense. Chinander being a former Hawkeye will bring a physical style in practice which from what we heard Riley staff was soft and we played that way on both sides of the ball.

Pretty sure he meant Bo. I assume this type around you will be satisfied with 9+ win seasons under Frost that Bo gave you.

Not every Husker fan was on board with Eichorst hiring decision back in December 2014.
Perlman hired Eichorst to fire Bo. Furthermore Bo fired himself by his sideline behavior and his tirade toward the fan base and local media and lazy recruiting.
I know why he was fired. My point is if you are expecting better W-L success than what Pelini had you will probably be disappointed. Believe it or not, Iowa feels they are about to go on a 3-4 year upswing.
I enjoyed Bo's meltdowns but I also enjoyed the John McEnroe tirades , Hitler rants and generally anything that makes someones forehead vein pop out like a tire bulge.

if this guy is as good as he seems to be from all of the attention he is getting.......then I am glad he is going to Nebby and not Wisconsin.
Wisky D is already tough enough. The second coming of Mike Singletary or even Trev Alberts couldn't help fix that $hit show in Lincoln in only 2 years of eligibility.

Kinda of a head scratcher on his decision when comparing Iowa's dline to Nebraska's as Iowa is loaded upfront which would allow Honas to roam sideline to sideline defending the run or in coverage. Then throw in the fact Iowa is losing all three starters at linebacker. That decision doesn't make sense but his life and decision. Best of luck, just not against Iowa.
Totally agree. Way better that he go to N, then Wisky, from Iowa's perspective. He'll have a hard time being free to get to the ball carriers at N.
