Honestly...Whatcha got against Ted Cruz?

All he has to do to lose me is court people who believe that their religion should influence our government.
Cuban. He has some interesting ideas about income redistribution and monarchy.
Cruz is an ultra right wing nut job. You obviously don't know left from right.
He's a dispensationalist. He believes his son is an anointed prince of the church sent to confiscate wealth from non believers and redistribute it to good Christians. Cruz was anointed at a ceremony right here in Iowa.

Well, he never takes the "right" side of any social issue so I would say he's pretty worthless.
You have to give it up to Cruz however. He's pretty good at hiding his crazy side when the lights are on.

Cruz is Canadian-Cuban.
He's a total phony. He preaches lies to his base like how he's going to abolish the IRS and overturn Obamacare when he KNOWS those things can't be done.
People that work with him hate him. His nickname is "Jackass" by the Republicans in Congress.
He flip flops on issues all the time for political reasons.
He leads shutdowns of the federal government which cost millions in tax payer dollars and accomplish nothing.
He's a used car salesman and a Baptist preacher combined. I mean, just look at the guy. He physically resembles a rat.
He insults an entire state by criticizing their "values"
There are probably 90 other reasons to hate him but those are the only ones I have for now.

When I see Cruz all I can think of is future president Martin Sheen in "Dead Zone". Hopefully I'm not prophetic.
While Ted Cruz goes around courting right wing Christians by using all of their favorite talking points, he takes loads of money from companies that want to screw them and everyone else over to make more money. Check out his opposition to Net Neutrality, for example.

There were 2 Republicans I didn't want to get the nomination - Walker and Cruz. Those two frighten me. I'm glad Walker is out. Cruz would force me to vote Hillary and I don't want to vote for Hillary.
