After having everything go right last week against OSU, I hope the Hawks can get back up for Wisconsin. Will be tough in Camp Randall, not to mention against their blitzing defense, Stanley hasn't faced defense this good. Our d-line does not match up well with Wisky's o-line size, heck who does.

This will be a huge challenge, really need this win. Go Hawks!

I think we'll have enough offensively to get into the 20's.

A big factor is that their top receiver (by far) is out and that means Jackson is likely on their #2. Advantage, Iowa.

Iowa's run defense has been much better after the bye week and I think they can limit Taylor. By this point in time, they've seen plenty of great backs (ISU, PSU, OSU). I think if they can make Hornibrook throw, he's going to make mistakes and that's the difference.

Iowa 31
Wisconsin 20

Yep, top r corvette being out makes it easier to stack 8 in the box, blitz.

With the projected weather a fully healthy D line is critical for the Hawks. If we can't slow down Taylor it's going to be a long day for Hawk fans.

I expect the pressure WI can put on Stanley in combination with the weather and their defensive backfield makes it unlikely to achieve the same kind of pass offensive results. Color me skeptical about our ability to run the ball if that happens.

Vegas had it all wrong last week, but over the years they get it pretty right most of the time. A few weather related drops and a less than ideal field could make life difficult.

Like last week I'll be hoping for the best, but it's not likely to play two pure games back to back. Throw in a couple of homer calls and spots and we'll be awfully lucky to get out of Madison with a W.

Trophy game. Feeling some confidence. The Hawks will be ready.

But, it probably won't be enough. Wisky 24 - 13

We rotate 8 on the DL so when Wisconsin usually breaks down defenses midway through the third our guys we'll be getting warmed up. The magic happens for Wisky in the last 20-22 minutes of a game. They're not going to be able to piss-pound our D-Line like some Mac outfit. Our defense will keep us in it to the end, the only question I have for Saturday is which OL shows up.

Nebraska put up a ton of yards on Wisconsin's defense, if not for tunovers that's a ball game into the fourth. Up till the Iowa game OSU's defense has been much more impressive than Wisconsin's. Most teams look great playing cupcakes till week 11.

Yes but mountain not that steep. We have some very skilled players.Like the special "game changer style" Expect a obvious 3/4 in box style. Game plan to Spread field no?? Open field up a bit.Can be done.Last week "Lightning in a Bottle".We caught it! Its simple. Am repeating self. But it can be done with a quality win. Sounds nice no ?

Concerned about a let down following OSU game that will make it even more difficult to beat a very good team like Wisconsin. If the Hawks play calling is unpredictable like last week maybe....

My biggest concern is the team shells back up and runs AW into a stacked line again. If we play like last week, we have a chance. If we clam up, that Vegas line will look prescient.

top r corvette
I've heard of a t-top Corvette. That's a new one.
