I've read that Hornibrook is holding the Badgers back. I would like our QB to hold us back to the tune of 13 wins in a season.
Wisconsin's O line and running game makes ol horny look much better than he is. Teams have to sell out to stop their running attack. Put that guy behind another line and he would look much more pedestrian...
Now it is just getting crazy around here.
Hornibrook is a solid game manager who can’t win the game himself but can deliver the ball to the open WR.
His arm strength has improved, as has his accuracy, just don’t ask him to improvise too much or see secondary receivers or make time for himself in the pocket.
He can hand it off and make the solid throw, that is all and frankly, the way Badgers play, its usually enough.

I'm not a horny fan, but he completed the passes he needed to complete..Stanley was better,but not a top tier QB. Hell, watch the way the Purdue QB has improved under a coach that understands QB play,Stanley left a lot of receptions out there tonight.

Well, Wiegers did throw for over 300 yards on 22 of 30, including a 70-yard TD and a 50-yarder that was dropped in the end zone. Of course, that was for mighty Eastern Michigan in its win over Purdue in West Lafayette after sitting on the bench at Iowa his entire career. Oh, and you do remember that Iowa lost, at home, to Purdue last year with Wiegers there to watch.... Just sayin'....
