An extra day of winter? Who came up with this shit?
Taking my son and one of his friends to Des Moines for new track spikes and Twin Peaks for lunch.
Lunch out with friends, head to the local brewery for a few, then substate basketball tonight hoping the boys get back to the Well.
Oh, you know it! Things get pretty wild around here on Leap Day. Shueyville basically turns into New Orleans on Mardi Gras. @Lone Clone knows better than to venture into the downtown area today,
Low fiber diet (surgery Monday), Iowa hoops at 11, probably try to stroll around Gray's Lake (Des Moines) for a few later, watching an acquaintance in an MMA fight later.

Twin Peaks? Do I need to google that in order to see it's a place with crappy food and busty waitresses, or just assume?

Went to the Iowa game then just finished watching the Cardinals beat the WS champion Nationals....yes I watch spring training games too...
Sitting by the pool trying to catch some sun. Sure wants to rain and the breeze today has to be a constant 25+ mph.

Anywho I was at volleyball all day and was able to sneak away to hit a small town, very nice sports bar in NE Iowa. The girls won the tourney and now I’m going to head to a birthday party for a spell. I gotta tell ya...I’m pretty fired up about the whole thing.

Made a last minute decision to relive my high school days and caught the Boyz II Men concert with the wife (no pic). Spent the morning with Florida A&M alum and former St. Louis Cardinal, Vince Coleman.
