Will the Big Ten be very balanced in 2017?

Too many questions for any clear Top 25 teams from the Big Ten West other than UW; and while plenty of love will also be cast on love child Jim Harbaugh's program, I'll believe it, when Michigan actually pulls it off.

At this vantage point, with the many questions at QB throughout the remaining teams not in the Top 25, not named Michigan, Northwestern or Purdue ... top heavy conference, in many ways ...

Wisconsin's passing game remains a question to a certain extent. The returning part-time starter sophomore Alex Hornibrook needs cut down on his interceptions, based on limited passing in 2016.

Of course, as a game manager, he and his Badgers carry the B1G West banner, until Iowa or others take them down and out.

Northwestern and Purdue actually return Top 5 QBs in the Big Ten, along with PSU, OSU and Michigan.

Iowa hosts Penn State right out of the B1G gate, later OSU comes to town in November.

MSU clearly has as much to question at QB, than Iowa. Top returner is coming off broken leg in loss to Michigan in 2016.

Here's to a 1-1 start, at minimum for Iowa in the B1G. Of course, it will be someone's first Big Ten start on the road for the Hawkeye signal caller. C.J. Beathard made his first Hawkeye start at Purdue in 2014, as a sophomore. Cheers!
