How big of a dipshit do you have to be to still be a trump defender/supporter?

I was thinking about this the other day through the prism of Kirk Ferentz. Bear with me...
Kirk
Arguably one of the most beloved individuals in Iowa, having done more for the state than most politicians. Overall a stand up individual who has done little if anything to embarrass us hawkeye fans. Sure there was Rhabdo and the racism but OVERALL he has a pretty solid track record of being a good human being, not to mention all the charity work he and Mary have done. Yet come football season (or year round for some) there are many republicans on this board that can't wait to critique his performance. They complain about his play calling, who he decides to play, who he hires as coaches and even how he runs the program. Shit, read the game threads and there are several MAGAts calling for him to be fired almost every week.

Compare that to Trump, convicted of rape and 30+ felonies, accused of sexual assault by 20+ women, regular on Epstein island, talks about fvcking his daughter, defrauded a charity, illegally paid a porn star hush money with campaign financing, etc etc etc. On top of that his performance as a POTUS has pretty much been him repeatedly stepping on his dick, yet none of the MAGAts on here can muster up a simple critique. They just blindly defend everything he does.
Someone help me square this circle.

Really don’t think there’s a measurement for it. It’s just sad, and somewhat entertaining that they are on the completely wrong side of history.
