I couldn't see the camera angle well on Kobi's miss with 12 second left. Its the responsibility of someone in the lane to always block out the FT shooter. So who blew that assignment? I'm think it might have been Weezy, just based on the fact that he had to foul him. That bone headed play cost us any shot of being able to tie the game up.

That wasn’t on Jack. Bohannon had the shooter but he was too busy doing his hair and tweeting about the inequities in college basketball to worry about blocking out the shooter.
Jack had done his job blocking his man out of bounds. Wasn’t his fault.
Wieskamp was there as well and didn't block out. Maybe he was supposed to block him out or maybe they were both supposed to. If I am choosing between Bohannon and Wieskamp to block out Kofi, it is Wieskamp based on size alone.
I like the things Nunge is doing on the floor; but, the one knock on him from me is he has poor hands.

Jbo has the blockout duties it looked like but blocked him for a split second before releasing and starting to head down the court.
No he allowed the little guy to go behind him, get under the rim and tap it out of Nunge’s grasp. Ball went towards the side rather than right back to the FT line.
Wrong. He did not “let” him go behind. The player tried to circle baseline and Nunge just kept boxing him out of bounds.
I replayed it 6 times last night. I’m not wrong, you are. Little guy to Jack’s left went around behind him and tapped out of his grasp. What are you looking at?
I don’t recall who was all on the court but JoBo should not be in the box. The other 4 should have been. That said if it was Weiskamp and JoBo should have been an easy rebound for one of them because Jack boxed his man out of bounds.
Looking at Jack box his man when he tries to go around baseline. Should have been easy rebound for 2nd line in box.
If that’s the case why was Jack’s man celebrating after tapping the ball loose?
He did tap but easy pickup of loose ball rebound for 2nd row in box. Don’t know what the heck they were doing.
Weiscamp had the shooter and got out hustled again for the ball. He gets lazy way to often. The announcers even mentioned it earlier on several loose balls.
Thats a pretty bad scenario if Jbo is supposed to block out the Cockburn......
Iowa has got to play physical ball and man up when the other team does the same. Way too passive of a team on both ends of the court. Put your foot on the other teams throat and kill them when given the chance to do so. Should of happened at Minny and against Indiana up 7 to 10 points during both games.
I'm pretty sure this is the rebounding philosophy for Iowa's guards, if you watch enough games..............
Jordan ran off Wieskamp just stood there doing nothing. Nobody put a body on him, inexcusable.
