That’s Iowa.
I don’t know, 0-13 on 3rd downs today was pretty damn consistent...This. If there is one consistent in iowa football its that they are inconsistent
KF said last weeks game was just to sexy, and they needed to tone it down this week.It really is something to marvel at.
KF is nothing but an average coach and that's all he has ever been. That one big win a year is enough for some fans to think KF is close to rightin' the ol ship.
Even the sun shines on a dog's ass some days. That's exactly what happened last Saturday.
i think part of it is our youth
playing at home last week and that crowd really helped
playing on the road this week and their crowd had a huge impact
we had the ball and were down just 10 when Daniels snapped the ball, it got fumbled around and Wisconsin took the ball in for a TD
Much of it is home field advantage, I’m convinced. Momentum is huge in college football. When a good defense is at home with the crowd behind them, they can get on a roll, get the opposing offense out of rhythm, build momentum, and just roll. Throw in an inexperienced, young QB, receivers who struggle to catch the ball, and a punter who can’t help you with field position, and voila — you have today’s game.
Last week doesn’t happen in The Shoe, I think we can all agree. Kinnick was rocking, we got on roll, Barrett was off, and there you have it.
It really is something to marvel at.
LOL4 words: Kirk Ferentz coached team
Happens all the time and will continue to happen as long as he is there
Inconsistent. Simple as that. Kirk is not consistent. This team was not ready to play. Defense did all they could to keep us in it. Offense did not show up.
KF is nothing but an average coach and that's all he has ever been.
Fant had a drop on the long pass too. Tough catch but I think he should have had itMarsette, Easley, Vandenberg had 4 drops? You got to recruit better receiver talent. Marsette has upside, Vandy was never more than a 4th or 5th option...don't know what is up with Easley...he's got to be money catching the ball.
