Agree 100%. I envision Jim as some old dude living in the middle some BFE Ioway county that drives his pick up around all day, CaseIH hat high on top of his head off to the side a bit - talkin’ MAGA with the 6am Casey’s coffee club and bitchin’ about cat litter in schools with the old boys at the one bar in town all afternoon. When he can’t find any of them, he graces us with his presence on HORT. Definitely not stolen_valor/rico/etc.

i can't get past the idea that jim starr was my property professor in law school, and was a very amiable irishman whose real passion was forensics. he'd get permission to exhume people like jesse james to do stories on how they 'really' died.

I’ve seen all of what you say in 3. I’ve used layoffs to get rid of these people. I’ve also been responsible for exiting good workers through no fault of their own. In my experience the latter is the more common of the two and the occurrence of the prior gets embellished so people have a story over scotch.

This is Trump's wet dream. He wants the ratings that social unrest would cause. Inside his reptilian brain he wants the carnage and violence.
There is a reason he sacked so many lawyers at the DoD last Friday. That point was lost in the firing of the black guy general and the woman admiral. He sacked the lawyers so when he tells Hegseth to murder protestors there won't be lawyers raising their hands telling Hegseth no, or issuing directives down the line telling officers and soldiers they must uphold their oath to the Constitution. He wants them telling the troops to obey his word, and his word alone.

Exactly. I’m of the opinion that Trump and Musk are pushing us over the edge….and the only way Americans will wake up is when they feel the chaos in their own lives, economically etc. so….this time around there is no resistance….I’m passively cheering Trump and Elon on.

The quicker we take our medicine the better, it’s going to get a lot worse before we may have a chance to pick up the pieces.

Yep. Started in the aftermath of the election, it is a “well **** it then, go ahead and let Trump burn it down” and see how it goes for his voters. Us people who voted for the lady with the goofy laugh will just sit here in our lawn chairs and watch it burn.

And so far it has exceeded all expectations and now the next phase (the people who voted for him entering the Find Out stage) has already begun and it ain’t even March.

We will still be here in our chairs laughing, eating popcorn when the army of Luigi’s that Trump and Musk are making right now out of THEIR voters comes for them.

I find it funny you all think it’s going to be a crazy person who snaps.

My prediction: it won’t be a rando. It’ll be calculated, well planned, and by a large group of very well-grounded people with zero remorse or hesitation to save the country.
