How many teams make the NCAA Tournament From the Big 10?

For the Regionals, most likely Indiana and Michigan are locks, Iowa and Illinois as of now are both one of the last 5 teams in the regional. Missouri and Okie State both projected in too, if we can nab a series victory vs. Mich or Okie State and take care of Mizzou I like our chances a lot! Current RPI is 47.
Also need to go 4-2 minimum vs. NW and PSU to close out the year.

I don’t think Michigan is a lock. Their RPI is only 50 and unless they win series against Iowa and Illinois, it won’t improve much because their other two series are Rutgers and Purdue. I’d say it’s too early for lock status but Indiana is close. The winner of the Ohio St and Minnesota series this weekend will also be close.

Too early to tell. Besides Indiana, a lot of teams have games against teams that can just kill your RPI.

My bet is 4 teams get slots. The tournament winner plus 3.
You left off Ohio state. They are on the bubble as well. I think 4-5 make it from the big ten. Indiana and Minnesota are in the best shape right now. With Michigan, Iowa, Illinois and Ohio state on the bubble. The tournament winner could easily be one of these 4. Purdue and someone else will also be in the big ten tourney but it’s unlikely they win it. Hawks really need to take the series this weekend against oky state. Also the midweek game against Missouri is huge. If we can get 3 out of 4 this week. 4 out of 5 if the western Illinois game doesn’t get rained out our chances will improve. I still think we need to go a minimum of 4-2 against penny state and northwestern as someone said earlier and probably 5-1. If we can do that and get 2 wins in the big ten tourney I like our chances. Go hawks! I hope Coles arms okay but if it’s not we have to fight through it. I’d give Judkins the start on Sunday if coles not available and we can always go to the bullpen early like we did today. We really need Brady Schanuel to step it up the rest of the way. He’s really been a disappointment. The only good thing is we might have him for one more year now because he will likely fall in the draft if he gets drafted at all. Go hawks! Just gotta find a way to sneak into the NCAAs and see what happens
1. I wouldn't count Purdue out, they certainly could win the B1G tournament.
2. If Iowa goes 4-2 against PSU/NW then our RPI is probably mid to high 50's or worse and we are not an at-large team.
