After Week 14 of the 2007 CFB season, here's the AP Poll. Definitely a season to have an 8 team playoff
1. Ohio State (11-1)
2. LSU (11-2)
3. Oklahoma (11-2)
4. Georgia (10-2)
5. Virginia Tech (11-2)
6. USC (10-2)
7. Missouri (11-2)
8. Kansas (11-1)
9. Florida (9-3)
10. Hawaii (12-0)
Hawaii probably gets in, Florida out. One of the Big XII teams out to mold the 8 team playoff.
My biggest takeaway is how much parity has changed since then. You notice Alabama isn’t in those rankings? How does CFB get back to having more parity like in 2007 or is it simply not possible anymore?
