How overrated is

It's also why bowl season never really played to the Big 10's strengths very well. Any of those teams could compete in a one off but for multiple games in a row? Really the SEC is the only conference equipped to do that.

Big Ten has actually been doing well recently.

They will not beat OSU this year, their offense isn't good enough. They are a lot like Iowa was last year. Although I think USC is finding out why the Big 10 is so hard. It's one thing to play a tough game and get up to play it but literally every week you play a team that will beat the crap out of you. Wisconsin is benefiting from that right now, not to take anything away from Wisconsin. Big 10 play is hard and you really can't replicate it until you see a team join it.
Big Ten isn’t that hard.

They were walking all over USC in the first half and USC looked like they had just gotten their asses kicked (physically, not score wise) the week before. Obviously they made some adjustments at halftime and since Wisconsin is limited this year they couldn't adapt.

They weren’t walking all over USC. That halftime score is misleading due to turnovers. Then usc made adjustments as you said, but more importantly they stopped turning the ball over.

Nebraska is the classic example of the same thing the west coast teams are experiencing this year.

I don't see us as the same example. We were already on the decline coming into the Big 10 and the coaching carousel was in full swing and we were on our third coach entering the Big 10. Starting in 2002 you began seeing this wasn't the same Osborne coached team and each year after it wasn't getting any better. We'd have our shining moments only to get crushed in the next game. The 2007 season is a good example, but not the only example, of the good followed by a lot of bad.

Pelini had some good moment with 2010 being one of those years, but that was a team carried by Suh. When Suh left it was back to more of the same.

And Nebraska didn't get bad because they joined the tough Big Ten. They would have been a middle of the road Big 12 team in the same span. They just haven't been good. Poorly coached over the years and their recruiting fell off significantly in areas they had done really well, especially Texas.

Nebraska scored a whole 10 points last year against Iowa. Must not have been too many receivers running around uncovered.

Deacon Hill is 1-0 vs. Nebraska, enough said.
Nebby has a real qb, that frosh is really good ... the forward pass is not kind to the Hawks, on O and D.

Michigan? Only beat Minnesota by 3 at home. Escaped at the end against a USC team that Wisconsin is dominating in the 1st half.

I think they get boat-raced by OSU this year.
Flip schedules with Michigan, see how that turns out. 4-8 maybe
