Based on Federal guidelines, Hunter will do some time. If Joe doesn't pardon Hunter, Kamala probably will. Either way, it will confirm the hypocrisy of Dems - everyone should pay their fair share.
Hunter said he made the plea to spare his family from details that would come out. Um..... yeah, we figured that.
Congressional Republicans didn't force Hunter to evade taxes. He chose that. He's lucky he was able to avoid other charges because the clock ran out.
The dude spent 40% of a 4 year job on PTO, let's not act like his ceiling is much above a C-.
And that's if you think he was amazing at handling our border, afghanstan withdrawal, loosing almost 300 million to the taliban, Chinese "weather ballons" ect.
Tax evasion is tax evasion and there are penalties involved. Hunter is not the first and he won’t be the last. However, do not be so damned arrogant as to think Hunter did not receive “special” treatment because of who he is.
I admire The Biden’s for facing this mess as a family and accepting the consequences straight up. As a father, what would you do if Hunter was your son and you could pardon him?

Absolutely…and understand, it’s a “conditional” guilty plea… there are extenuating circumstances here (addiction) that certainly affected behaviors…not an excuse but a consideration in legal procedures.
Hopefully this will end it. The Republicans will extract their ounce of blood and then they can deal with their own problems within their Party.

Biden isn't a drooling vegetable 24 hours a day. His team has said he functions from roughly 10 to 2 every day. When he's not on vacation that is.

First time offenders don't go to jail for this. He's trying to avoid another trial because of the embarrassment of Beau's wife and other family/friends having to testify.
But yeah sure, it's all a big conspiracy. The only reason that it was going to trial for either of these cases is because of politics, if Hunter was Joe Blow he would have pleaded to misdemeanors and never done any jail time. Politics is why he's been treated much more harshly than average guy in these cases.
Al was carrying some “extra baggage” there buddyboy…….and his was one of the first tax evasion cases prosecuted…an example was to be made.
