Saw on themat that Dhesi suffered an ACL tear and will not compete the remainder of the season, very unfortunate for him, as he was an exciting Hwt to watch! Wish him the best of luck recovering.

Although looking from a hawkeye lens this does 'help' Stoll a bit. Could see him as high as 4th this season. Maybe he'll follow the Gilman path.. 4-2-1

Think of terms of teams Iowa will be competing with for the podium. Not gonna change anything for either OSU or VPI, and PSU about as likely to move up a notch as Iowa.

That SUCKS!!! I hade him in the finals against Snyder!!! Helps the Hawks quite a bit but also psu. Nevils is a definite AA contender now.

Hate to see this. OTOH, pretty sure he already missed one year for injury, so he'd have a good case for a 6th year -- which would be after Snyder graduates.

Yep, was out offseason 2014-2015 (?) for surgery. Sad indeed.

Sad deal hate to see this happen to anyone, all the hard work these guys put in. Hope surgey goes well and he can get a 6h year if he wishes.

The loss of one guy isn't moving that needle far, for anybody. Either you were a contender before or you weren't.

Sorry to hear the young man got hurt.

He will have a good case but to be clear, he's only a RS junior right now so will be back next year regardless if rehab goes well.

Very sorry to hear that. I wish the young man the best. Sadly, we know all about ACL tears in heavyweights. Hoping Sam comes back good as new.
