can put up 30 plus the next two games and we go 2-0 does he vault to top contender for B1G POY in the media's eyes?

I think if he continues to play well, he’ll absolutely be a candidate.….but unless he just goes off the rest of the way, Iowa’s performance may well prevent him from winning.

Wisconsin Davis put up 30 at IU in a close win last nite.
He had 37 in a close win at PU.
I think he is the top guy right now.

Davis is a scorer, yes. But Keagan is that and so much more to Iowa. He leads the league in scoring, 3rd in rebounding, 4th in blocks, 8th in steals.

For Iowa, he is the stopper on defense. He is the best rebounder, and the guy to get a bucket when the team needs one. He is truly the most valuable player for Iowa and, I would argue, the most valuable player on any team he would be on in the league. I would take him first over any of the other top players in the B1G simply because he can do it all.

He's averaging over 8 rebounds per game as a guard. He had 12 against IU. He had 15 against Illinois!! Those are crazy numbers for a 6'5" guard. .

Davis leads UW in scoring, rebounding, and just about every other category. But he’s doing it on a first place-ish team. Plus he’s had NPOY type performances in big road/neutral games.

He has a pretty good team around him, right?
