even though those in attendance will have a chance to see the Hawks go 11-0 for the first time in history. It is one of those things folks can say they witnessed for the rest of their lives. What are your thoughts on this? Is the fan base shrinking, tickets priced to high or fans think the game is a gimmee?

Season tickets dramatically dropped due to frustration with the program. Despite Iowa's surprising (to say the least) output, a ton of those season ticket holders have realized staying in the comfort of their home and saving hundreds if not thousands of dollars isn't such a bad alternative to Kinnick.

The university's strategy should be to HEAVILY target Iowa fans in Johnson and Linn County. Not sure if that's what is happening or not, but it's the only logical route to a sellout in my book.

It's the same people that are on here bitching about last year that aren't going. It's too bad; they are missing a great show

Not really surprising when it will be 36
Degrees and some of us would rather listen to Beth's warm and welcoming voice.

I'm not surprised. I almost didn't get season tickets this year and I live within walking distance in Iowa City. If I had to travel at all, I wouldn't have bought them.

It took several years to chase the fans away......you can't win them back overnight.

KCRG calling for a high temp of 33 (morning temps in the mid-20s) with a 60% chance of snow the day/night before.

Would be shocked to see anywhere near 60K butts actually in the seats.
