No post play, no defense. Everything is around the perimeter. A lot of isos and chucking up 3s. That’s the game.
I don’t care to watch the offenses that are3 point shots or drive to the basket every possession. Haven’t watched an entire game all year.
Nobody wants to watch Boston shoot 50 threes a game. They are brutal to watch.
Agreed - it’s simply not as much fun to watch as the 1980’s/90’s version of NBA.
It may have been an uglier game, but I loved Pistons - Bulls, Pacers and Knicks - Bulls. Celtics-PIstons. Used to be a tough league. Now it is a bunch of pussies that need "Load managment"
They shoot too many 3s, but it's funny that people on here are pretending that they would rather see a Rik Smits hook shot or a Vlade Divac 10 foot jumper over today's product.

You can't be serious. The NBA players might play defense on certain possessions. They have the physical talent to do it. But there is no heart in a chunk of the players.
But that’s the thing. It wasn’t ugly. It had everything: toughness, defense, athleticism, post play, shooting, rivalries, superstars vs. superstars, and on and on.
I'm not an old fart that just complains. NFL is better today than it has ever been. NBA is a joke. Great talent, but average play.

How about that WNBA though? Last year's season had 144 very talented and skilled players, many of them were once All Americans.

Regular season vs playoffs is a huge contrast.
Watch the Celtics defend in playoffs....their top 7 can lock down in a long series.

Watching the Pistons and Knicks make their game plan to mug the shit out of everyone wasn't all that entertaining to me, but each their own. Without MJ it wasn't that great as we saw during his hiatus

I roughed up one of good friends in bball practice because I knew he was going to play college ball. It pissed him off, but it made him better.
