I don’t care what anyone says…

I don’t care to watch the offenses that are3 point shots or drive to the basket every possession. Haven’t watched an entire game all year.

I love all basketball. Luckily I love it so much that Im smart enough to appreciate the differences in college vs nba and the differences in styles through the years.

And this is coming from the biggest 90s homer there is. The no defense arguments make my eyes roll so much it almost knocks me over every time I hear it. That's just code for i only watch on Christmas. Which is fine, but just know people who actually like it think you sound stupid :)

You can't be serious. The NBA players might play defense on certain possessions. They have the physical talent to do it. But there is no heart in a chunk of the players.

It may have been an uglier game, but I loved Pistons - Bulls, Pacers and Knicks - Bulls. Celtics-PIstons. Used to be a tough league. Now it is a bunch of pussies that need "Load managment"
But that’s the thing. It wasn’t ugly. It had everything: toughness, defense, athleticism, post play, shooting, rivalries, superstars vs. superstars, and on and on.

How about that WNBA though? Last year's season had 144 very talented and skilled players, many of them were once All Americans.

I feel bad for those that didn't get to watch the old NBA.

Regular season vs playoffs is a huge contrast.
Watch the Celtics defend in playoffs....their top 7 can lock down in a long series.

There seems to enough grumbling about the current style dictated by analytics that the NBA might make some rules changes.
Eliminate short corner and push 3 pt line out to 24.5 ft.
As players adapt and master skills game should adapt accordingly.

Current NBA does not know what defense / rough play is. That is a fact, Jack
Watching the Pistons and Knicks make their game plan to mug the shit out of everyone wasn't all that entertaining to me, but each their own. Without MJ it wasn't that great as we saw during his hiatus

Current teams know what defense is but now everyone can shoot and score. Can slow teams down but impossible to stop

Touche.

I roughed up one of good friends in bball practice because I knew he was going to play college ball. It pissed him off, but it made him better.

I don't like soft ball, chucking 3s. Not fun.
