I don't care what anybody says it was Caitlin Clark that has attracted all the people to women's basketball

What is funny is that every time LSU got one of these big transfers, Clark’s name started significantly trending on Twitter. Everything they’re doing is being compared to her. They may have won the national title, but Clark won the nation’s hearts.

She’s basically Jordan on the Bulls in the 80s. Best player in the game, most entertaining player in the game that everyone has to watch, on a good team, but not quite good enough teammates to get the championship.

Great analogy and this is also what totally grinds my gears. Once in a lifetime opportunity player and crickets on finding her Scottie Pippen.

I disagree the ref were the biggest difference between Iowa winning or losing that game. if they call Mulkay for a Tech for being on the floor like she was, she would have been tossed in at least the 2nd quarter.

those 2 T's would have of given IA4 FT's and 2nd chances at FG's that's a 8-10 extra points. and the momentum would have been with Iowa.

Iowa had these fouled out
Czano 22 minutes and scored 13 points with 6 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals and 1 block
Warnock 25 minutes, scoring 9 points, 6 rebounds. 1 assist and 1 steal.
Clark did not foul out but she did have 4 fours 2 of which came on 1 play they were just looking for any reason to foul Caitlan but not to foul her out.

but to contol her impact on the game.

You make it sound like Bluder hasn't made the effort to land, "her Pippen" even if such a player existed. A). Its not like you can force them to come to Iowa City. B). As for players like Betts, the jurys still out on what she will become. Just MAYBE we should see what AOG, Stuelke, and Goodman, do this year under coach Jenson's tutelage, and Clarks ability to play her team mates in to wide open shots.....

I only saw LSU and S Carolina play one game each last year and it was against Iowa. I never saw one pass by either of those two teams that was anything close to the many, many great passes by Clark. Clark can really push the ball up the court by pass and dribble, amazing to watch her just blow by several defenders going baseline to baseline. And those two skills arent even her bread and butter long range treys.

Obviously it's all Clark. Was there any doubt out there?
The game of basketball and the sport of women’s basketball is much larger than Caitlin Clark. Don’t let people talk you into getting involved in this “noise”...LSU (and SoCar) were better teams than Iowa...as were 3-4 others but Iowa had #22 and when it was absolutely necessary..when it was absolutely key that #22 be accountable, she was. That #22 was not THE reason 90% of women’s basketball fans turned on the television can hardly be intelligently argued. Being “the best” in most anything is horribly subjective in most cases....why most folks tuned their TVs to the Lady Hawks"........there is no question.

Well put. Very true also.

So maybe her teammates drink Michael's secret stuff and instantly become better basketball players to help Iowa win a National Championship!!!
