Some good work by the school letting a kid with some issues / challenges do their play-by-play. I just watched BTN Wrestling in 60 and he has some shortcomings as an announcer but he has some passion for penn state wrestling. He sounds very similar to Chet Chitchat if you live around Chicago. Like Chet he was tough to follow at times but it’s great for him to have the opportunity and good for Penn State.

Looked like Bo may have dyed his hair a greenish color so it may have been for a special cause that’s related to the special announcer.

Byers is the real Deal, most Hawk fans hate him and I get it as he gets ramped up by Huge PSU victories which have become typical at NCAAs....

Byers called Chris Dardane's singlet "burgundy and yellow". 180 years of maroon and gold probably doesn't penetrate his blue/white fixation.

He then proclaimed that Chris is known for his strong riding and was ecstatic when Gulibon quickly escaped. Chris is known for cutting opponents not riding them.

His nonstop tirade against the officials turned him into a parody of announcing. The highlight of his derogatory comments was when he was dumbfounded at a turtled up Law being called for stalling. He must have not seen Ness with his hands in the air looking quizzically at the ref. During the Lawson match he stated that PSU would win the dual by criteria if Gulibon wins by tech fall. Apparently unaware that a tech fall is not the same as the real criteria of falls, forfeits, defaults, and disqualifications. "
