Gives me a good feeling.

And I KNOW that natural loves the name "White Snake". He probably giggles when he hears it.

That was the saccharine song written to be the "hit" on the album (which generally means it's the worst song).

Pic of OP's mullet while wearing acid washed jeans at a White Snake concert.

OP sure likes to brag about liking crappy music.
I've correctly bashed the OP many times on this board, but never for his music. The man has a fine ear for the greatest era of rock. I believe I'll put Boston: 3rd Stage on right now to reinforce my beliefs.

How can people still get excited about top 40 stuff that was played ad nauseum on every radio station, jukebox, kegger, and redneck's car stereo?? Top 40 exposure can ruin even a great song. (see VH's Runnin with the Devil) Maybe Whitesnake had a few deep cuts that were decent, but I never heard anything from them that made me want to investigate further.

I don't care who you are, that's gold right there, Jerry.

3rd Stage...what a putrid album. Never should have been released. I remember seeing boxes of it in the discount bins at Best Buy a year after it was released.

Whitesnake was right about the time when I realized MTV had begun it's ruination of good hard rock music. An Asia/Europe/Night Ranger cookie cutter sum of the parts greater than the whole type record company abortion that never should have been given a record deal.

The current chart music could be the cause for all the depression in teens. It's just horrible. I blame the demise of album rock. Just like in life, you had to suffer through a few bad apples to get the hits. Now, they just download the current flavor of the day. The current billboard is full of Justin Bieber, Drake, Fetty Wap... pathetic.

Yep.

It would be nice to hear a good modern hard rock band on the radio, just once.

BTW for those starved for a good hard rock band still operating, I recommend a Canadian band called Big Wreck. In Loving Memory Of, The Pleasure and the Greed, and Albatross are all exellent. Ghosts...most recent, had a bit of an anti-war vibe to it I didn't get as much.

Like all Canadian bands, they can be an acquired taste for some...but they fill my needs quite nicely. ILMO is one of my all time albums, and the next two while not as strong start to finish still have lots of fantastic tunes.

I can't even say the words Justin…….you know, without throwing up in my mouth.
