he barely played in the 2nd half.He was in. Wasn't playing well, getting burned on D; I'm not sure his conditioning was quite where it needs to be for two high-level games within 24 hours.
code?Fran said that CJF “didn’t look right” so he sat him.
Correct, on account of the aforementioned.he barely played in the 2nd half.

He definitely hasn't seemed himself, and is likely a step slow on account of the residual effects related to lack of in-game conditioning and the injury. I really think 5 days off will do him wonders, and expect him to come out strong next Thursday.Hmmm. That doesn’t sound great. He hasn’t looked good past couple. Hoping Fran just saw that today was uphill climb with no real reward and sat him to be conservative. The livers / young news certainly makes you thankful we are probably into NCAAs without injury.

You apparently have forgotten about Nunge already...Hmmm. That doesn’t sound great. He hasn’t looked good past couple. Noticed that as well. Also noticed that in the last regular season matchup with Wisconsin. Someone posted how it was good to have CJF back and healthy. I replied that he was not anywhere near healthy. At one point on two consecutive trips he basically just walked back on defense when the ball was being advanced against us. Fran pulled him out, and then just a couple of minutes later Joe W went down with the ankle. I was wondering if Fran would go to Perkins but he put CJF back in, and was a little surprised because he just didn't look like he could go full out for long stretches. I think Fran will need to spot his minutes for the tourney. He was in. Wasn't playing well, getting burned on D; I'm not sure his conditioning was quite where it needs to be for two high-level games within 24 hours.
Being overly cautious with CJF. He also stated that he wasn’t sure he was going to play Joe W in the BTT. Although the BTT is important, Fran knew Iowa was set as a 2 seed. No reason to take any chances.
this - I’d recommend anybody worried about it watch Fran’s post game presser. I can tell you did because the above quote has a lot of the same details. If somehow you didn’t watch it, are you Fran?
