Because Davis intentionally took a "shot" at the wrong basket going for a rebound to get a triple double. That was in a league of its own when it comes to stat padding. That one act earned him ridicule for all time unfortunately.

Yea Davis was ridiculous for doing that.

I don’t personally care for her and the team appears to be a mess but goddamn, that girl can rebound. 19 RBs today vs. the Lynx. She recently recorded three straight 20 RB games. If that team ever hires the right coach and brings in a Kelsey Mitchell type shooter, they will be a load.

But it is really the same thing people were saying about the Fever when Clark got her TrDb. A shot goes up and the other 4 Sky players take off down court and leave Reese to do the rebounding. Last night they were outrebounded 31-29, and AR had 16 rebounds. No one else had more than 4 for the Sky.
