Latest NBC poll shows Trump has now pulled even with Harris....

I do NOT trust polls. After 16, I just can't. So, for the most part I take them all with a grain of salt....mostly. But, if a right leaning outlet says Trump has lost ground, it piques my interest, just like when a left leaning outlet (like NBC) says Trump has pulled even. This is just crazy.

From listening to the 538 podcast and similar shows, my understanding is that there may be additional weighting applied to pro-Trump responses in an attempt avoid underrepresentation that was seen in 2016 and 2020. My feeling (and nothing more) is that the “hidden” Trump votes they are currently trying to capture will not materialize.

These past 3.5 years have exposed Trump for the cretin he is, to even more people. I think, when push comes to shove, that Trump will be down to his 38-40% die-hard base plus another 5-8% of the soulless, greedy MFers that are just voting (mistakenly IMO) to further pad their savings/investment accounts.

I'm hoping and praying that won't be enough.

I hadn't thought about hurricane states being mostly red. Not a lot of mitigation with pre-existing voter laws and short time periods. People displaced from their homes won't be back to vote at their polling stations.
