I think that it is funny when all the announcers talk about Wisconson

I laugh every time herar an announcer talk about Wisconson and that they haven't played a ranked team and everyone hopes that Michigan wins so that they can be ranked. I am not positive, but I think that next week they will be playing a "Ranked," team that has a great probability of beating them.

It's just the national press doing their thing, like fake news. Just 2 years ago Iowa was undefeated in the same conference and all the press could say was we hadn't played anyone/a weak schedule.
These are the same people who have no regard for America's flyover states. We don't count.

Isn't Michigan and all other B10 teams (other than Rutgers) in fly over country?

Hans, yes they are. ESPN doesn't like the Big 10. They like the ACC and Kentucky for basketball and SEC for football. They like the Yankees, Red Sox, and Dodgers and Giants for Baseball. They like New England and the Eagles and Skins (but not their name) and Seahawks for NFL and now they have teams back in LA to promote.

That's one reason I enjoyed watching the Astros win the World Series. BTW - when I travel to the east coast on work-related trips and wear Hawk gear around in the evenings, I'm pleasantly surprised at the amount of people that know Iowa from the Tigerhawk emblem.
