The Niabrara region of Nebraska Shits on the bluffs of NE Iowa. It's where the Prarie starts to transition to big sky country and it doesn't smell like Clinton.
Every other part of Iowa is much better than Nebraska.

I just KNOW that where I live is pretty cool and pretty much everywhere I've ever been in Nebraska sucks rancid butthole.

I travel a lot.
Every state in America has cool parts and shitty parts.
The ratios are just different in some regions.
I reject your premise that the entire Midwest is “the same” or particularly “worse” than any other region.
And one guy represents Davenport Iowa in that analogy.
One other thing I would add, Iowa has Dutch towns, Nebraska has Irish towns, O'Neil Nebraska is exponential more fun during St Patrick's than anything the Dutch offer from pella or orange city during their festivals.
