I attended the game Saturday. And like most in attendance, I was frustrated but thankful for the win. Then Sunday, I watched the TV version of the game and I felt sheepish for my criticism of the team as a fan in the stands on Saturday.
Iowa really looked pretty solid on Tv as compared to “ live” in the stadium. Still the same mistakes and strange sequence of events/play calls, but théy ran efficiently and a few dropped passes really hurt them too.
Go Hawks! 9-2......
If someone told you in July Iowa would win 9 games in the regular season, most of us would have been pretty happy.
