If it makes anyone feel better, Trump did get less than half the vote.

Yep and actually a very close popular vote. Not even close to a landslide which he will continually lie about forever.
Popular vote is like total yardage in football. You have to score points to win. Electoral college votes are the points. And Trump certainly had a landslide win when you look at the scoreboard.

He's not lieing about a damn thing, you're just simply not telling yourself the truth.

Now do Kamala.
Yep, even worse. We had two shit candidates and a large percentage of our electorate decided to sit on the sidelines.

Trump won fair and square, but we shouldn’t act like he has some massive support - his active support is only about 1/3 of the adult population. Unfortunately the non-voters are likely to learn a tough lesson.

Yep. As I said all along it’s about voter turnout. Kamala was just not a likable candidate. Not that Trump was, but I warned Dems on here they better have a massive voter turnout or Trump can and will win the election.

Democrats just aren’t very bright. They could have held an open convention and nominated someone with a much wider appeal than Kamala. Instead, they had to name her the heir apparent because she checks the right boxes. And I don’t want to hear she was VP and next in line. That didn’t matter to the Democrat elites in 2016 when they told Biden to sit this one out.

Democrats get plenty of blame for Trump.

The only box she needed to check was the purse strings otherwise there would have been more of an open selection. The people who stayed home and MAGA are responsible for what's coming.

Do you consider Biden's 2020 victory a landslide?

A glorious 4 years like 2017-2020?!

Wow, If that makes anyone feel better, including you for finding it and posting it, there are a lot of people needing mental help.

If you can't comprehend that people who voted for Trump have a much bigger mental problem than those who are dismayed that there are so many people who voted for a vulgar, lying, emotionally-stunted individual, then you are definitely part of the problem.

Any decent human being is troubled by the election results. This is our country. A great country. A "shining light on the hill" for over two hundred years. And we are now dominated by this man too disgusting to even adequately describe. It's sad.

Yes, Kamala has less. We all know that.

The point is that people act like there was some massive shift to the right and broad rejection of the entire democrat platform. Landslide victory, entire country is red now, people rejected "woke" etc...

The reality is that just enough people believed that Trump was the better option for the economy for him to win the election. It's not like every Trump voter fully embraces the Trump platform. You see that expressed here.

If grocery prices don't come down fast and all wars end, there will be enough grumbling from people in the middle to swing the pendulum back in two years.

I thought jo was tossed before the 2024 election?

🙄

Keep losing elections, Tom.
I wasn't joking nor disagreeing with you. They went with the person who had the war chest. That's common knowledge. Not sure why you're rolling your eyes because it's fact. I have admitted many times that democrats are not nearly as good as political games as Republicans. Watch Republicans when they leave a governorship. Multiple times they limit powers of the incoming democratic governor and when they win they do everything possible to consolidate. Democrats, like Biden is doing now, play nice.

You are delusional if you think an open convention would have improved the Democrats chances. There is a reason Republicans were upset they didn't do that. It's not because they were hoping Democrats would end up with the best candidate. The reality is, Biden not declaring he wouldn't be running again in 2022 is what screwed them. It takes, at minimum, 2 years to line up a Presidential run, but it really takes 4 to get everything in order. She had 100 days basically. She needed people to understand the consequences of another Trump Presidency and unfortunately given how sheltered right wing media she was unable to break through that shell and reach them. The one real opportunity she had and she declined the interview. Although that interview was probably too late in the game to make much of a difference, but who knows? The reality is, if going after Trump voters was her goal and considering how she was getting Republican endorsements it clearly was, she should have gone on Rogan right after the Democratic convention and then done it again a week before the election. She should have done other right leaning podcasts as well. Just stay away from the fascist ones like Tucker.

Is this kinda like the "denial" part, because there's some serious delusion showing up in this thread?! Can't wait for @Chishawk1425 and JoeTarded to sober up and chime in!!

Under normal circumstances, I would agree with you. (I do completely agree Biden screwed them and should have stuck with being a one-term president.)

He’s been suspiciously quiet. The decline must be pretty bad
He's been golfing, selling cheap knock offs with his name on them, and his burgeoning social media addiction keeps him pretty busy spending all night making sick burns about Justin Trudeau and Canada.
It's almost like he didn't really want to do the job of president, just get himself out of legal trouble and get to throw himself some parades.
Plus, the dementia. The handlers are doing everything they can to keep him out of view.
