If kamala harris Wins, The National Debt Will Conservatively Exceed $45,000,000,000,000 by The End of Its 1st Term

Someone isn't aware the WSJ has informed OP that Trump's policies will make that far far worse.
And endorses Harris because of it.

Yes, because a brain dead journalist at the WSJ would know. 🤡 Might as well ask the resident brain dead journalist of HROT what it "thinks!" 🤣

Trump is not a fiscal conservative OP. He has said so on multiple occasions. Both parties are horrible at this. The GOP talks like they want to cut costs, but they never do. I truly wish we had a fiscal conservative choice, but the GOP dumbasses decided that this doesn’t matter.

Y’all would rather fight pronouns and pretend Trump will build you a wall than solve one of the biggest challenges to America’s future.

Actually, the economy has performed better and debt has risen more slowly under Dem leadership than GOP.
Over decades.
Mostly because there aren’t fiscal conservatives in the GOP. They could earn my vote if they had someone who would:
  • Limit tariffs (and not threaten our allies with them repeatedly)
  • Cut spending - even on some untouchables like the military, or raising the social security age to a point of long term viability
  • Hold taxes until spending is under control…potentially even raise taxes where necessary to balance the budget
But these are third rail topics and no one from either party will do it. Alas, at least the Dems are honest about it. The cons talk like they care and then they never address the problem. My grandkids will pay the price for this because a bunch of boomer GOPers (who will be dead in the next 10 years) are too selfish to actually solve this issue.

The "conservatives" do the opposite: they provide massive tax breaks for their rich donors, amplifying the deficits, not fixing them.

They also have not been "the party of less government" for decades now: they want to monitor and control anything they deem "inappropriate" per their perverted religious ethics/values.

They also actively eliminate oversight on anything they do: whistleblowers are now attacked under their leadership. Kim R has actively eliminated oversight as much as she possibly can. That's the opposite of competent governance.

They understand their followers are so easy to grift, that their party has been fully taken over by the grifters, not anyone with any interest in actual governance. That's a harsh reality, but it is indeed a reality these days.

Well....not quite....The U.S. National debt stood at $10,024,724,875 as of Nov 2008 when Barack Obama was elected..

In the next 16 years, when Democrats were in the White House in 12 of those years, the National Debt has exploded to nearly $36,000,000,000....

Trump contributed his fair share from $19,573,444,231 in 2016 to $22,719,401,254 in 2019 before Covid added $4,245,547,985 in 2020....

So, for those not familiar with the National Debt, it took 240 years to accumulate the first $10 trillion in debt ending in 2008 and 16 years (when Democrats were in the White House 12 years) to add almost $26 trillion to that total....
