If Selection Sunday were this weekend, Hawks

Love where we are. I just hope we can keep our eight or nine guys healthy. Whether they score 21 or 3, we need every able body.

I'm thinking you meant 5 or 6 guys healthy.... We have 7.5 guys healthy right now! That's with Pemsl & his back. Throw in a Till and we have 8ish???

Just please stay healthy Hawks! If so, We could have a pretty darn good year!

would likely be something like a 4 seed.

This is based on Sagarin Computer ranking that has Iowa at
#18, currently, having played the 11th most difficult schedule in the USA.

As a point of reference, Indiana's Strength of Schedule, currently is
#270.

Call me crazy, but I don't think Iowa would be anywhere near a 4 seed as things currently stand. I would guess a 6 or 7 seed. At any rate, none of this discussion matters really, but I felt compelled to respond anyway!

It sounds like most of us are pretty happy with how Iowa has done so far. However we all know winning on the road is key....and really rough.

The B10 teams are only 9-24 on the road so far this year.

Obviously higher the seed the better but personally I'll be ecstatic on just making the tourney this year no matter the seed. Coming into season I thought with JBo we'd be a bubble team and wouldn't have a chance to make it with out him especially with a more difficult non conference schedule. But with Garza playing like an all american and Connor and CJ playing above expectations think this is a tourney caliber team.

One thing with this year there are no real dominate teams so can easily see lot of the top 3-4 seeds be in jeopardy of getting upset that first weekend. So basically lets just get in and see what the Hawks can do.

THIS ^^^

Considering that Nunge injured, PMac out, etc, with the exception of letting an undefeated SDSU team up off the mat, the Hawkeyes start has be Great. Gotta keep it going though, as the Big10 schedule is more brutal than ever, imho.
