A Labour Party peacenik. We should have seen that one coming. If elected (in 2020), he'd probably roll over and lobby for Sharia Law throughout the UK so as not to offend anyone (but the Christians, that is).......then the Torries will be in power for a long time.

Sounds like you have thoroughly studied the mans past record. That's lost time you'll never get back.Let's just completely ignore the fact that he's been right about every significant foreign policy issue in recent memory. The fact that he looks like a slob is all that matters.
Having lived in the UK, I feel qualified to respond. Looking homeless isn't viewed negatively in the UK, in fact, many strive for it. One also needs to realize that there are 3 parties in Britain, and they don't necessarily split down the same lines our parties do. As a country, they're also much further down the "socialist" path than we are. Members of their "conservative" party may be viewed here by many as "liberals."Must all contemporary Socialists look homeless?
I mean this Corbyn guy and Sanders look like they need a shave, bath and comb in the worst way.

Most people can only dream of owning their own home, but they do provide more government services. They've effectively raised the floor and lowered the ceiling for what someone can hope to achieve in life.
A friend of mine grew up in Liverpool and has lived/worked in 5 continents as a contract lawyer for various oil companies and lastly for Alliant Energy. He has since retired. He says it breaks his heart to see what the UK society has become. He has been a proud US citizen for a number of years now and says the US Midwest is the best place in the world to live, in his opinion.Having lived in the UK, I feel qualified to respond. I've heard sentiments along those lines from my UK friends as well, though none currently live in the Midwest.A friend of mine grew up in Liverpool and has lived/worked in 5 continents as a contract lawyer for various oil companies and lastly for Alliant Energy.
