Mosquitos for me. I would imagine it would have a massive impact on the world, not just preventing itchy bites during the summer. Countries that are impoverished and overrun by them might have better tourism and climb themselves out of third world country status with a better economy and less disease transmission.

We have a couple of bats that live in the neighborhood. We have zero mosquitos.

For me it would be box elder bugs. Goddamm useless things. The only thing they're good for is as Purina Spider Chow and the goddamm spiders can't keep up.

Wrong about the food chain. Scientists have actually studied this...there are currently no known ill effects from removing mosquitoes. There are enough other bugs for predators to eat.
