Abe against Zack Branagel.
Last time, Abe pinned Zack in 2020 midlands.
"Assad seems like he's more confident"
In fairness to Schreiver he was working his ass off to get out and had several near misses. He just didn't do enough chain wrestling when he broke free for a second. Needs to be just a little bit quicker. Byrd is an All-American, he's not some chump.Cullan has nothing on bottom
I agree, I think some are being overly critical of Schriever. In fairness to Schreiver he was working his ass off to get out and had several near misses. Schreiver needs to be better moving forward, but at least IMO he's not a long way off from being serviceable. I guess what I'm saying is he doesn't seem completely overmatched out there, and in the early going for some of these guys that's at least slightly encouraging.
yep, I thought Byrd should have been called for stalling. all byrd was doing was reacting. bull got called..I agree, I think some are being overly critical of Schriever.
As you mentioned, Byrd is an AA. He did finish 5th last year and he has an additional year in the room over him. Plus, it's not like DeSanto blew Byrd out of the water the last time they met (5-4 loss I think).
Cullan worked his ass off on bottom, just couldn't find the escape - and Byrd did exactly what he needed to do to get the win. But hats off to Schriever for keeping it respectable and not giving up bonus points.
Should our guy find his offense and start firing off some shots and get to the legs, he won't have to worry about the bottom position as much.
