Bringing the kids to their first game at kinnick and it's been a quite a few years since I've been down too.
We are not tailgating, so where is the best/convenient place to park. Also, coming from about 3 hours north so is the interstate the best route or are there some back roads to avoid traffic that work well.

Hmm. How far are you willing to walk? Might want to do the train.

You could park in a ramp downtown and take an express cambus to the stadium area. You could eat some breakfast before heading over, or eat post game while traffic thins out.

When we have kids we like to park by the new rec center (just off Burlington). Eat downtown, walk through campus to stadium, then the walk back to the car is only about 15 minutes.

This is good advice. If you are doing the train of course.
